NOTICE

Friday Night Poi Club will be finishing on Friday Dec 14th

Due to increasing costs Poi Club will not be restarting in the New Year. Fireflies would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has attended over the years for their support. We will be meeting up for social spins in the spring when the weather improves, watch this space for details.

 

FireFest organised by Fireflies, is a one of a kind, free one day festival held on the beautiful Sussex coastline, attracting over 10,000 visitors.

Originally a concept to raise funds for the victims of the Boxing Day Tsunami, it soon became apparent that the local area boasted a wealth of talent that was eager to be seen. Combined with local traders, stallholders and workshops these elements all came together and became a highly successful one day festival based around what the local area has to offer, while raising money for local good causes.

Firefest aims to give local Bands, musicians and other performance artists the opportunity to showcase their talents at a well attended event in a beautiful local venue

To give local traders and business people the opportunity to promote what they do at a well attended event.

To give the people of the community a well organised free event with entertainment from local bands, musicians and performers. Locally run workshops on the beach, stalls and traders offering local produce and goods as well as  fair-trade goods.

To raise money for local good causes.

To give the people of Eastbourne the chance to be proud of where they live and what their community has to offer.
